Course Description

Public Policy Conferences

These high-level, AG-focused programs are designed to address the latest policy issues faced by state AG offices in a balanced and broad-based manner. Content is provided in a variety of formats including panels discussions, debates and lectures. Instructors include preeminent experts from academia, government and the private sector.

Public Policy Institutes

The Public Policy Institute is designed to give participants a solid understanding of the economic analysis of law and will be taught by leading scholars on the subject. The program assumes no prior knowledge of economics or law and economics. Its objective is to enhance the analytical tools that lawyers in AG offices bring to the conduct of their legal practice.

Advanced Policy Institutes

These small seminars build on training provided in AGEP Public Policy Institutes to provide a more in-depth exposure to targeted topics. Attendance at Advanced Policy Institutes is limited to those who have either graduated from one of our Public Policy Institutes (at Northwestern or George Mason) or whose legal practice specializes in the subject area. Enrollment is limited to 30 participants.
