Mason AGEP Program Information

These programs provide a more broad-based understanding of the economic and public policy implications of the issues they encounter in the course of their legal practice. As the chief legal officers of their state, state attorneys general tend to approach the increasingly broad array of issues they encounter from a litigation perspective; however, these activities often have broader regulatory and public policy implications.

The AGEP provides a common forum for this important policy constituency to engage with experts and each other to identify and analyze key issues facing state AGs from varying perspectives. The AGEP sponsors a variety of programs, including a three-and-a-half day introduction to law and economics, as well as issue-specific symposia on important and timely issues. The AGEP is a strictly neutral, non-partisan forum.

The AGEP Advisory Board helps to ensure our programming is timely, rigorous, balanced and high quality. For more information about the Attorneys General Education Program, please contact Linda E. Kelly the director of the George Mason Attorneys General Education Program at 703.993.8040 or LEC@gmu.edu.
