Mason JEP 4th Case Analysis SeminarEvent Date: Wednesday, June 1 to Friday, June 3, 2011 Location: George Mason University School of Law, Arlington, Virginia Case Analysis Seminars allow the judges to hone their skills of economic analysis through practical applications. Attendance is limited to 20 judges and two law-and-economics scholars. Each judge identifies a published case that he or she would like to see discussed; edited cases are distributed to all judges in advance of the seminar; one hour is devoted to each case; the judge introduces his or her case; a brief introduction to the economic concepts applicable to the case is given by the professors; and then an open discussion with participation by the judges and the professors takes place.
