Each judge identifies a published case that he or she would like to see discussed; edited cases are distributed to all judges in advance of the seminar; one hour is devoted to each case; the judge introduces his or her case; a brief introduction to the economic concepts applicable to the case is given by the professors; and then an open discussion with participation by the judges and the professors takes place.
